PASADENA, CA / ACCESS Newswire / January 24, 2025 / The Now Corporation (OTC PINK:NWPN) is excited to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Green Rain Solar Inc., is preparing to establish a significant presence in the Southwest, focusing on the New Mexico and Arizona markets. The company plans to collaborate with channel partners to drive the adoption of solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, a pivotal step in its commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

In anticipation of this expansion, Green Rain Solar has already registered with the Secretaries of State in both Arizona and New Mexico. The company’s long-term vision includes integrating solar energy into EV infrastructure while addressing the energy needs of high-cost urban areas across the region.

The move reflects the company’s confidence in the state’s vast solar energy potential and rapidly growing adoption of solar panel installations. Additionally, New Mexico’s favorable tax policies compared to California will help reduce operating costs and create opportunities for investment in community solar projects.

The move into the Southwest aligns with Green Rain Solar’s broader mission to become a leader in the renewable energy sector, offering sustainable, scalable solutions for urban and rural markets alike.

Market Gains Follow U.S. Treasury’s Increased Debt Repurchase Program

    August 20, 2026

U.S. stocks saw modest gains on Wednesday, buoyed by a sharp decline in long-term Treasury yields. The S&P 500 climbed by 16.22 points, or 0.21%, to close at 7,707.98, ending a streak of three consecutive declines. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced by 119.65 points, or 0.22%, finishing at 53,463.05. The Nasdaq Composite increased by 41.38 points, or 0.16%, closing at 26,331.09. Bond prices increased following the U.S. Treasury Department’s announcement of expanded liquidity support through larger buybacks of longer-term government debt. Beginning September 9, the maximum purchase amount will be raised from $2 billion to at least $4 billion per operation. This adjustment applies to nominal coupon securities within the 10-to-20-year and 20-to-30-year maturity brackets. The heightened purchase volume will be maintained through November 4. The department explained that strong demand for high-quality offers was a key factor in deciding to increase liquidity operations in these sectors. Treasury yields responded by falling, reversing some of the recent upward trend in long-term borrowing costs. The 10-year Treasury yield decreased to approximately 4.65%, while the 30-year yield dipped to about 5.20%. Notably, the 30-year yield had reached 5.337% on Tuesday, its highest point since
